GHEPI has been a family business since 1972. From January 2022 it has a new important partner, JSP International, of the Japanese group JSP Corporation listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and part of the Mitsubishi Gas Chemical group.

GHEPI is accredited as a Research Laboratory of the Emilia-Romagna High Technology Network and deals with the development and management of Projects in the field of plastics, in particular aimed at Product Innovation for Environmental Sustainability and Circular Economy with high performance polymers, expanded and recycled polymers, biopolymers (biodegradable and compostable).

An important strategic asset is the strengthening of the Business Development and Sales Area to support Customers in the development of Innovative Projects.
